As of today, I've called the Quad Cities home for one year and seven months.

A fairly decent amount of time, so you'd assume that I've been my fair share of places.

I've checked off a lot, but still have many to get to, which is why I LOVE QC Restaurant Week! It gives me a chance to get out of my comfort zone and try new things - without breaking the bank.

Here are my top 5 places I want to try for QC Restaurant Week (and I'm always taking suggestions)!

    Crust Stone Oven Pizza

    Bettendorf, IA

I fell in love with brick oven pizza while going to school in the Twin Cities. It's thin crust, but fluffy all at the same time and it also makes you feel like it's a "healthier" option when it comes to pizza (although I've done no real research as to whether or not that's true, but let me think what I want).

Since I moved here, I have only heard good things about Crust Stone Oven Pizza so I'm going to make it a priority to try it.

    Here's the deal:

     LUNCH - $8 per person

Lunch special includes a side salad, cup of soup or side of truffle fries, and a personal-sized 1-topping Neapolitan pizza.

    DINNER - $25

3 Topping Tavern Pizza and a Salad to Share

    Central Standard

    Bettendorf, IA

Another restaurant I've only heard good things about.

People have been talking non-stop about Central Standard's burgers since they opened. I've even heard that they have a KILLER bloody mary bar on Sundays!

    The Starting Line

    Davenport, IA

The Starting Line, formerly Brady Street Pub, opened their doors in 2015. With their front doors being blocks away from mine, I'm still shocked I haven't found time to try them out.

Although, I was there for a surprise 40th birthday party.

One of my friends who works in downtown Davenport says The Starting Line has a good, affordable lunch.

    Here's the deal:

    LUNCH - $8.00

Daily Lunch Special and a non-alcoholic drink for $8.00

    DINNER - $20

Any appetizer to share and two entrees for $20.00

(This does not include the Battle Up Brady Burger Challenge.)

    Sneaky Pete's Woodfire Grille

    Le Claire, IA

My boyfriend's brother and sister-in-law live in Le Claire and are always giving us the 411 on where to shop/eat/drink when we visit. I've heard them mention Sneaky Pete's on more than one occasion.

    Here's the deal:

     LUNCH - $8 per person

1/2 burger with swiss cheese and thousand island dressing on Texas toast served with French fries or salad bar

    DINNER - $15 per person

Pork chop dinner with pineapple glaze sauce includes 2 pork chops, vegetable of the day, salad bar, and your choice of side

    Bass Street Chophouse

    Moline, IL

My parents came to visit for B100's NYE 2014 and wanted to know of a nice place to go for dinner. I asked around and it was unanimous - Bass Street Chophouse.

    They went, and LOVED IT!

Coincidentally, this is one of the better deals I've found during restaurant week.

    Here's the deal:

    DINNER - $25 per person

    Appetizer: Portabella fries (single serving)

Choice of soup of the day or house salad

    Choice of entree:
