A Beloved Quad Cities Restaurant Is Closing Its Doors

Say it ain't so panini lovers! Unfortunately it's true, Panini & Friends is shutting down. In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the restaurant sadly informed their patrons:

Panini & Friends opened in Davenport last October, and has developed some seriously devoted fans. In addition to paninis, they offer soups and sides, as well as a coffee bar. No reason was given in the post as to why they're saying goodbye, but we're sad to see them go!

We'll keep an ear out for what might take over their space over on 3rd Street, but until then, you'll want to fill up on as many paninis as you can. With their new early hours – they'll open at 5 a.m. until they close their doors – you can get plenty of breakfast paninis.
