A Popular Chain Restaurant is Coming to Moline

Good news for Moline residents. A fast food favorite is coming to your side of the river.

According to the Dispatch-Argus, Moe's Southwest Grill will open on 16th St, near SouthPark Mall. The new business will be located on the site of the former Mills Chevrolet. The building is currently under construction and will feature a drive-thru when it opens.

An official opening date has not yet been announced, but Moe's will likely make its debut sometime late this year or early 2019.

Moe's opened a location in Davenport a couple of years ago and has become quite popular. The future manager of the Moline location, Stacy Pena, thinks that indicates that the Moline store will be successful as well.

"It should do really well,” Pena said. “We have a lot of people that come to this (Davenport) location that are actually residents in Illinois, so I think that it’s going to work out really well.”
