It's scary movie season, and one that seemed to terrify everyone was "A Quiet Place." They loved it, but they were terrified by it. The movie stars John Krasinski and his wife Emily Blunt, in a post-apocalyptic world where they have to remain silent to survive.

The movie received both critical acclaim and fan love. It was especially appreciated in the Quad Cities, as the writers of the film – Scott Beck and Bryan Woods – are originally from Bettendorf. But will they be involved in the sequel?

It was revealed today that Krasinski is currently in the process of writing a sequel to the movie – with no mention of the Bettendorf natives. Still, it's not uncommon to have multiple writers on a project.

It's possible Krasinski is just seeing what he's capable of. Hopefully Beck and Woods will be able to return to their project, or at the very least, consult on it. We'll be waiting...quietly waiting.
