Following in the footsteps of Season 41 opener and fellow actress/pop-star Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande pulled double duty on March 12 as both Saturday Night Live's host and musical guest.

Last time Grande appeared on NBC's long-running sketch comedy show, the petite pop powerhouse served as Season 40's opening musical act alongside then-host Chris Pratt. Grande made a grand return to her acting roots as the first-time hostess of the March 12 episode in many hilarious skits, including a standout sketch about the Kids' Choice Awards — and Ariana happened to win an actual KCA for Favorite Female Singer that very same night.

Ariana also expanded her repertoire of dazzling celebrity vocal impressions — first seen on the Tonight Show last year — in an amazing skit (with a ridiculous premise) about TIDAL dropping the ball again.

The appearance was the perfect primer for her forthcoming new album, Dangerous Woman, out May 20.

Watch three more skits below, Ariana also debuted live performances of "Dangerous Woman" and the previously unheard "Be Alright," a 90s house-influenced number complete with on-point vogueing from her dancers and Ari herself. Do you think Larry David apologized to Ariana for flubbing her name in the intro?
