If these are anything like last night's storms, just watch it. Don't drive. Trust me.

Last night, after dinner with friends, we sat outside with our cups of coffee and continued our conversation and vision. When it started to rain, it actually felt nice so we stayed. Once it picked up and the lightning started to strike, we went to the garage.

When it was time to leave, the rain seemed to have let up a little, making me think the drive home wouldn't be so bad. Boy, was I wrong! White-knuckle -death-grip-on-the-wheel was the option I went with. It was either that, or pull over. Interstate travel at 40 mph and barely being able to see wasn't my idea of a great time. Neither was watching another car ahead nearly hydroplane.

So, how do you get out of a hydroplane? Watch now and take mental note. It could save your life.
