5 Best Places to Get Fries in the Quad Cities
Whether you’re having a burger, sandwich or hot dog, the meal just doesn’t seem complete without a pile of fries on the side.
So who does fries better than the rest in the QC? Here’s what Yelp! has to say.
1. Sippi’s Restaurant – Davenport, IA
Located near the corner of 2nd and Main downtown, Sippi’s offers a ton of different food options. Most of which are accompanied by fries that some describe as “the food you will get hungry for weeks or even months from now.”
2. 11th Street Precinct – Davenport, IA
In the heart of the Village, 11th street is the prime spot for food in the area. A majority of those dishes have a pile of hand-cut seasoned fries. Almost every reviewer mentioned the fries at some point.
3. Captain’s Table – Moline, IL
Many reviewers had just one word to describe Captain’s Table’s fries, “Excellent.” Customers love how they’re thick and hand cut. You can find Captain’s Table down by the river at 4801 River Drive.
4. Duck City Bistro – Davenport, IA
Looking for Duck City? It’s right down the street from the River Center/Adler. Customers evidently can’t get enough of their “Duck Fat Fries”, which, obviously, are fried in duck fat.
5. Barrel House – Davenport & Moline
It’s not just the quality of the fries that put Barrel on the list, it’s the different kinds you can get. French Fry Nachos, Portabella Mushroom Fries, and Sweet Potato Fries are all options if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary. Also, their regular fries are a fan favorite.
