When you think of summer you probably think of sunshine, baseball and hot dogs on the grill.  So where's the best place to get a frankfurter in the Quad Cities?

We took to Facebook, Yelp!, and Google to find the hot dog stands Quad Citians love most, and put together a list of the best in no particular order.

1. Big Dog's Hot Dogs - Davenport, IA

Big Dog's is located on the corner in front of the Figge Art Museum in Davenport.  They're open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sundays at the Freight House Farmers Market from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.  See their Facebook page for more info.

2. The Hot Dog Guy - Le Claire, IA

The iconic hot dog cart you will find along Cody Rd in Le Claire every weekend. Certainly one of the best places to enjoy a hot dog in the QCA, especially since downtown Le Claire makes for a great afternoon walk when the weather is great. See them on Facebook.

3. Roy's All Fed Up - Moline, IL

You can find "Roy", John Rodgers, down along the river at 4500 River Dr. in Moline.  He's open Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Check him out on Facebook.

4. Coney Island - Galesburg, IL

Famous for their "Coney Dogs", reviewers say Coney Island is worth the trip from the metro.  Furters are steamed instead of grilled.  You can see what Facebook users have to say about it HERE.

5. O'Dawgs - Sterling, IL

Located in the heart of downtown Sterling, O'Dawgs features Chicago Style Dogs and Italian Sausages.  Hit their Facebook page to find out more..

6. Modern Woodman Park - Davenport, IA

Okay, so it's not an actual hot dog "stand", but the ballpark franks at Modern Woodman Park always exceed expectation.
