If you're like me, you might enjoy perusing the racks at thrift stores in hopes of finding name brand fashion for less. One of my favorite Quad Cities resale shops is Studio K in Bettendorf. I've always been a fan of their wide variety of women's and children's clothing, toys, shoes, and accessories. Over the last couple of years, I've been able to find tons of cute, high quality outfits for my daughter there, for a fraction of the cost.
That's why I was so sad to hear that Studio K is closing at the end of the month.

Owner Kristy Graham said in a Facebook post that she is moving the business to online only, so that she can spend more time with her newborn daughter.

You still have a little bit of time to bargain hunt at Studio K, since they will be open until the end of the month, but their exact closing date is not known yet. Right now, almost everything in the store is 50 percent off, and I can only imagine that prices will continue to drop as they get closer to closing.

While I am sad the shop is closing, I can understand that the demands of a family-run small business can be difficult, especially when you have children. Thankfully, Kristy will still be selling name brand, high quality merchandise on her online page.

Studio K is open from 10-5 Tuesday-Friday and 10-4 on Saturdays.
