Bettendorf Hobby Lobby To Relocate

According to KWQC, crafting chain Hobby Lobby on Kimberly in Bettendorf will be moving locations to Elmore in Davenport this August. A Hobby Lobby spokesperson said the move will help give customers a "better shopping experience to help them lead a creative life."

Quad Cities Hobby Lobby lovers might find the new location to be either more or less convenient, depending on where they live. The new location will be near Walmart, so a bit further north than it is currently. The move will also place Hobby Lobby closer to one of its main competitors, Michael's Crafts. I can see why they would choose the new location, due to its close proximity to popular businesses like Walmart and Target, whereas the current store is more isolated from the busy Elmore shopping corridor .

I have been in the Bettendorf store several times and it definitely seemed old and outdated, which makes sense since it opened almost twenty years ago. Hopefully, a new store means updates, more space, and even more crafting supplies.
