Sigh...More snow is on the agenda for the Quad Cities this week, and amounts could be fairly big.

According to KWQC, our first chance for snow comes Monday afternoon, with the potential for sleet/freezing rain during the evening. Precipitation will continue overnight and into Tuesday morning. Snowfall totals are predicted to be 4 plus inches north of the QC, 2-4 in the I-80 corridor, and 1-2 near Highway 34.

Heavy snowfall is possible towards the end of the week, with a potentially large snowstorm forecasted for Friday. Temperatures Thursday and Friday will hover right around the freezing mark, meaning a wintry mix of sleet and ice could also take place.

Since it's still early in the week, it's hard to tell exactly how much Friday's storm will amount to. We'll keep you updated if that weather system becomes more significant.
