Former University of Iowa and NFL player Tyler Sash was found dead at his home in Oskaloosa Tuesday morning.

According to a release from the Oskaloosa Police Department, emergency services responded around 10 a.m to a call for an unresponsive male at 719 Fox Run Drive in Oskaloosa. Police said upon arrival the man was identified as Sash and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

Officials with the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office could not provide additional details — including cause or date of death — for Sash. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday and more information will be released when that is complete. No foul play is suspected, police said. [KCRG / Cedar Rapids Gazette]
