Yesterday I took my daughters to work with me. Here's what went down.

Some people couldn't imagine taking their daughter to work even on 'Take Your Daughter to Work Day."

I have never minded having my kiddos with me at work. I am extremely thankful that I've not only been encouraged to when needed, but that most of the time, they don't mind being here and when they do, other staff have stepped up and helped out to help me keep them busy or entertained. I truly love that about my workplace. You can't replace supportive, caring co-workers. They're invaluable.

I only got to have two of my three daughters with me. While I would have loved to have all three, only one really cared about going on the air. My middle one has been on the air with me before. She sat across from me reading her book and doing homework, with a mic that was ready to go on, if and when she felt she wanted to.

Her younger sister, however, is ALL about going on air. She loves sharing her thoughts and her spunk. Did you hear her at all?  Let me know if you did!

After our studio time, we went directly to Modern Woodmen Park for the Quad Cities River Bandits game. We have some pretty fond memories there. My middle daughter took some pics for me (for work) and we hung out with Jay Rush (B100 mornings with Olivia) and River Bandits GM, Andrew Chesser. The girls even got to try out the new Pirate ride all ready for when the Amusement Park opens next week.
