Are you looking for a new "used" car? The State of Illinois is warning buyers to watch out for cars damaged in Hurricane Harvey.

According to WQAD, Secretary of State Jesse White has told his staff to look over titles carefully.

If a vehicle has a title from a county impacted by flooding caused by Harvey, the applicant must have a signed statement from the owner and a insurance agent must verify that the vehicle has no flood claim that was filed. Buyer beware.
