It's the holiday season! (Please read that in your best Bing Crosby voice).

It's official now; Thanksgiving is over, and everyone can peacefully transition into holiday mode. I dove right in this weekend, and went to Christkindlmarket Chicago with my family. If you've never been, you should definitely check it out, which brings me to the good news!

There's a Christkindlmarket coming to the Quad Cities. It'll be open December 8th and 9th at the Freight House Farmer's Market in Davenport.

The market is known for good food and even better souvenirs. You'll find some absolutely gorgeous ornaments, all hand-crafted from around the world. My favorite booth is always the one with the nutcrackers. There's so many and they're just beautiful.

In between checking out vendors, you can feast on authentic German Cuisine. In Chicago, there's typically an annual mug available for purchase, that many people collect. Hopefully, that'll be an option in the QC as well!
