Well, looks like it's time to start buying lottery tickets in Davenport!

Ray and Delena Eckstein won $25,000 a year for life from their ticket last week. Unfortunately, they had to wait for the holiday weekend to pass to claim their prize – something I don't think I'd have the patience for!

According to KWQC, the woman ironically had Lasik surgery just the week before, so she was able to see her winning numbers nice and clearly. Her husband says he used his laptop to look up the winning numbers from Thursday’s Lucky for Life® drawing and thought their ticket had matched the first five numbers but missed the Lucky Ball.

So what does this couple plan to do with their winnings? They're smart savers, and plan to put it into retirement savings. But they'll splurge a little; they need a new lawnmower and home furnace, and might get some accessories for Ray's motorcycle.

What would you do with $25,000 a year for life?
