Event Helps Women Learn About Auto Maintenance

You often hear about unscrupulous auto repair shops that take advantage of women who don't know a lot about their vehicles by selling them repairs they don't need.

A local tire shop is holding an event on Tuesday, April 3rd to provide ladies with the knowledge they need to avoid being scammed, and maybe do a little DIY on their own cars.

The event is called Lipstick & Dipsticks, and it is hosted by River City Tire in Davenport. It's a chance for women to learn about their car, drink some wine, and make some friends.
