UPDATE: At about 4:45 Thursday morning, authorities confirmed that Constance and Larry VanOosten have been found.

They were being treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect is now in custody.

The investigation remains active and fluid.

 

 

ERIE — A woman and her husband have possibly been abducted from a home in rural Erie, Il.

The couple has been identified as Constance VanOosten and her husband Larry VanOosten.

Whiteside County Sheriff's Office says they are investigating the incident after a report came in that  a withdrawal of cash had been taken from the victims' account at First Trust and Savings Bank in Albany.

The investigation is being conducted by numerous surrounding agencies, including the Whiteside County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police, and the FBI.

Authorities say the possible suspect vehicle appears to be a 1990's two-toned silver Chevrolet Caprice.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (option six).
