A recent melon recall stemming from a salmonella outbreak has now spread to Iowa, after hitting several midwestern states.

According to WQAD, precut cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew, and fruit medleys purchased in clear plastic are the main culprits of the infection. The fruit, distributed by Caito Foods, was sold at Walgreens, Walmart, Whole Foods, Kroger, Trader Joe's and more. It's unknown if the specific products were sold at QC stores, but you'll want to double check your fridge anyway.

So far, 60 people have become ill after consuming the fruit and 31 have been hospitalized.
