It was a slow week, but we've finally made it to the weekend! Even better, we made it through Mother Nature's cold snap. We hit record low temperatures in the Quad Cities, and a lot of schools were closed for the bulk of the week.

At this point, the kids are probably going a little stir crazy right? Lots of pent up energy can be a bear to deal with. Luckily, the weather has broken, and we're supposed to see temperatures in the upper 40s this weekend!

If you're looking for something fun to do outside, you can come hang out with me! I'll be at the Bettendorf Winter Carnival on Saturday morning. I'll be hanging out at Frozen Landing from 10 a.m. to noon with some B100 swag, but there's more than just skating.

It'll be warmer than last week, but still chilly, so be sure to bundle up!
