HyVee is recalling six of its store-brand trail mixes due to possible Listeria contamination.

According to The Des Moines Register, HyVee's caramel cashew honey crunch, dark chocolate cranberry, mountain, berry and Santa Fe trail mixes along with the mountain trail mix to-go packs are all being recalled in each of the eight states the company has stores.

Customers are urged to return the recalled materials and will be issued a refund.

As of now, no illnesses due to product contamination has been reported.

This specific recall hits close to home because I'm a big fan of generic store-brands and Hy-Vee has a pretty clutch mountain trail mixture. Luckily, this week I've been chomping on the Habanero BBQ almonds. A close call, indeed!
