Illinois Quad Cities Drivers To Get New Vehicle Plates
The state of Illinois will begin replacing license plates in the new year. A new design will replace the current look which was released in 2001. Manufacturing issues with the current plates are another reason for the change. Many of the tags has paint finishes that peeled or rusted faster than usual.
