It's tax time. I got a notification last week my W-2's are ready. That means my brain is going into panic mode. Do I have everything together? What are my deductions this year? What will I do with my refund? Will I get a refund?

According to KWQC, experts say there are a few things you need to know before you file your taxes. Having the proper documentation is important to getting the most bang for your buck. If you donated to charity, make sure you have the proper documentation. If not, contact the charity and request the proper documentation.

Don't panic. Just ask your tax preparer what you will need to maximize your refund.

You can start filing your taxes right away, but refunds will not be processed until January 29th.

Hopefully I'll get a big enough refund to finally afford that yacht I've had my eye on.
