How does Kelly Clarkson feel about Demi Lovato's recent dismissal of Taylor Swift's squad? Or, to take it back a few pages, what are Clarkson's thoughts on Swift's infamous, enduring Cold War with Katy Perry? Well, to borrow a page from Lovato's own songbook, she really don't care.

On last night's (October 5) episode of Watch What Happens Livethe reliably-candid Clarkson — equal parts diplomatic and forthright — played her second game of Plead The Fifth, during which host Andy Cohen asked for her opinion of Lovato's Swift-takedown. Clarkson listened intently, but by the time Cohen finished his question, she quickly proved she's not familiar with the magazine rack.

"Whoa, I am officially old," Clarkson said, entranced. "What?"

In a beautiful moment of pop culture collapsing on itself, Cohen then tried to explain what a squad was, but Clarkson remained clueless. So living legend Melissa Etheridge, Clarkson's fellow guest, swooped in to give it a shot. Finally, the meteor made contact.

"Oh, Jesus," Clarkson said. "Oh, my God. I have to say, I don't think of that ever. I have way too much going on in my life to worry about supermodels and angry pop stars. Do people care?"

Cohen and Etheridge both insisted that people, in fact, do.

"I'm so lame," Kelly finally conceded.

Critical as it may seem, Lovato, herself, would likely agree with Clarkson's sentiment. After Lovato's comments inflamed some of Swift's fandom, the "Confident" singer tweeted: "I don't understand why people care so much about what I say in interviews? Do y'all watch the news? Don't y'all got sh-- to worry about?"
