Christmas is almost here and there are still more gifts to get.

If you haven't finished purchasing, or in the case of one of my listeners I talked to today, making, your Christmas gifts yet, think about supporting local for your last minute shopping.

I took to Facebook to ask my friends where I can go, since I too, am a horrendous procrastinator when it comes to Christmas shopping. While I'm proud to say I did already get some locally-made,crocheted presents for my kids, they were the only things I purchased early. But one thing remains important to me as a consumer, to support as locally-made, locally-sourced, as possible.

Quad Cities businesses, whether artists or jewelry makers, feel the love when you help support the local economy.
