Lil Wayne Makes Emergency Landing After Leaving the QC
What is link between celebrities having medical emergencies and the Quad Cities?
Lil Wayne performed at the iWireless Center in Moline, IL. last Friday night as the headliner of the QC Summer Jam. Lil Wayne made it to Milwaukee but didn't make it far enough away when he suffered a seizure and the plan had to land in Omaha. He had a second seizure on his way back to L.A. and is reportedly doing fine and in good spirits.
We are all still feeling the sting from Prince's death, after he had to make a medical emergency landing and was hospitalized here. Prince died a few days later. But after this happened, we have to wonder if we are cursed.
Legendary actor, Cary Grant also died in the Quad Cities years ago. Jus' sayin.
For now, Lil Wayne seems to be doing O.K., and for that I am grateful. He has suffered from epilepsy for years and this isn't the first time this has happened. It was nearly fatal in 2013. We wish him a speedy recovery.
