Looks Like Star Wars Won’t be Filmed in Davenport
When I heard Davenport was being considered, I had to find out more.
You know how it goes. Your friend posts something pretty awesome on Facebook and you immediately share it because, you know, your friends are right...aren't they?
The thing flying around Facebook land like the Death Star itself, was the hot news that the next Star Wars film was being filmed around the Davenport, IA. area. Since there's nothing here that I can think of off the top-of-my-head that screams "Star Wars material," I needed to investigate and call B.S., if needbe.

This particular site had a heading that read "Next Star Wars Movie to be Filmed Near Davenport Iowa." Naturally, unsuspecting Star Wars are going to get baited right in. And that is exactly what this b.s. website wants. I can only imagine the clicks they get on a daily basis.
