Louis Tomlinson is grateful for the outpouring of support from his fans following his buzzy solo debut on The X Factor U.K., as well as the tragic passing of his mother, Johannah Deakin.

The "Just Hold On" singer shared a photo of himself performing his debut solo single with Steve Aoki on Monday, December 12, on Instagram, where he wrote, "Thank you for the incredible support :)"

The post comes after the One Direction star lost his mom to her battle with cancer on December 7, and just days after he bravely pushed forward with his solo debut performance during The X Factor U.K. finals, something Deakin had reportedly been looking forward to.

Of course, fans aren't the only ones rallying behind Tomlinson during this difficult and emotional time.

Most of his One Direction band mates, as well as Simon Cowell, have shared their support of the singer on Twitter.
