Lyft Has Landed in Davenport

The new ride service in Davenport has launched today.

When I was in Portland last summer, I saw some great advertising billboards for Lyft. It was a cool-looking hipster drawing on the side of building. I loved the artistry in Portland and love seeing glimpses of it, here in the QCA, too.

The ride service extended to 54 cities today, including Iowa City, Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, according to KWQC.com.

There's more than Uber to choose from now in the Quad Cities. That tells me a couple things. The Quad Cities is growing and that it is progressing in both getting and adding the attention of businesses normally found in much larger metros. And that makes our little, big town pretty great to be in.
