Mayor’s Youth Job Fair Is Today

Do you have a teenager in your house looking for something to do this summer?

Today (3/1/18) is the day for them to do something. To get off the couch, put down the video games and Snap Chat and find a job for the summer.

From 3pm 5pm today at the J.B Young Opportunity Center in Davenport, Mayor Frank Klipsch is holding his annual Youth Job Fair.

The City of Davenport, IowaWorks and local businesses are teaming up to provide a one-stop opportunity for teens to apply for jobs with Quad-City employers.

Teens should dress for success and be prepared to fill out applications.

This is a great opportunity for teens to get out of the house, stay out of trouble for the summer, learn skills, and make a few dollars.
