Megabus Returns to the Quad Cities

Megabus cut their trips in the QCA short last month but they are back and ready to roll.

Getting to Chicago from Iowa, just got easier and cheaper thanks to Megasbus' return to the Quad Cities. When you need to get to one of the major cities in our region, there's a convenience factor here that can't be beat with the cost.

All of Iowa's metros are linked up once again to Chicago and Nebraska, thanks to a new deal reached with Windstar Lines. According to WQAD.com,

“Many of our customers were understandably disappointed with our decision to exit the Iowa and Nebraska markets earlier this year,” said Megabus vice president of retail Colm Lynch. Windstar Lines is a solid operator with a strong history in the Iowa and Nebraska region. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work together and bring Iowa and Nebraska back to the megabus.com network.”

Starting March 1st, Megabus will head both east and west bound, from Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska, to Des Moines, Iowa City, Moline and Chicago with additional service on the weekends and holidays.
