It seems like every other week we are hearing about car burglaries in or around the Quad Cities.

According to KWQC, 2 cities in our area have been the latest targets.

First, Wilton, IA police are telling residents to lock their vehicles and not to leave valuables or keys in residents vehicles. They also go on to say "don’t make it easy for these out of control kids from the QC." If you see something or know something residents are urged to call Wilton Police.

Second, according to KWQC, Crime Stoppers is investigating burglaries that happened in Rock Island on Thursday, March 15 in the area of 20th - 38th Streets and 5th - 23rd Avenues in Rock Island. Authorities are saying most of the cars that were broken into were unlocked. If you have info on those burglaries, call Crime Stoppers at 309-762-9500.
