During my time in Muscatine, I discovered many businesses that I grew very fond of. One was the local brewery.

According to WQAD, Contrary Brewery in Muscatine unveiled a new beer yesterday (Dec.10th) called Iowa Pollinated Ale. It's a IPA with a special ingredient...locally grown honey!

To me, IPA's are a little too bitter for my tastes, but I bet the honey adds a special sweetness. My curiosity has peaked.

I love Contrary Brewery. Some of their concoctions are a bit out there, but I've never had a brew there I didn't like. Check out their beers on tap at their website as well as their Facebook page.

I think I need to make a road trip to visit some friends and grab a growler or 5.
