It may still be warm outside, but fall is right around the corner. One of the area's most popular autumn attractions is gearing up for a big opening this weekend.

Shady Knoll Farm in East Moline officially opens for the season on Saturday, September 15.

Although some of their attractions won't open until later in the month, you can still pick pumpkins and zinnias this weekend. That means you can get those adorable family pumpkin patch photos in before Shady Knoll gets too busy.

I have picked up a few of the colorful "Cinderella" pumpkins from the farm before and they are absolutely gorgeous. The whole place is picture perfect for taking Instagram shots.

Shady Knoll is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 AM- 5 PM and Sundays from noon-5 PM.
