I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand, I see how artists want to protect their music and their images, but on the other, in the world we live in, it's almost a must to have your phone on you.

According to TeamRock.com,  The Revention Music Center in Houston, Texas, brings in new phone locking system to prevent audience from using their devices during live shows.

The venue has said this will be in place by May 1st. People in the audience will pace their phones in a pouch that will then be locked. The only way to open the pouch is to take it outside in the hall and use a unlocking station.

Your phone will remain with you the entire time by the way. How do you feel about this? Good idea, or bad?
