Popeye’s, Olive Garden, Panda Express Coming to Moline

A group of aficionados has been working for over a year to entice Portillo's to the Quad Cities. While the work of the Portillo's group has yet to bear fruit, the City of Moline - Planning & Development Department announced on their Facebook page yesterday that three major chain's are opening locations in Moline.

• Popeye's will be opening on the corner across from Regal Cinemas and Lowe's off John Deere Road.
• Panda Express will be next door in the old Ryan's Buffet.
• Olive Garden will setup shop on 16th Street near the Taco Bell at South Park Mall.

Good news for Moline. But, I'm holding out for Five Guys, and In 'N Out Burger.
