Just in time for National Pizza Day, Brix in Moline is undergoing a transformation. The brick oven pizza restaurant will still be serving up slices, but is now going to be called Van's Pizza, Pub & Grill.

The Dispatch Argus reports that Davenport pub Van's will be making Brix its second location, with some slight tweaks being made to the menu. Brix's signature brick ovens will be replaced with conveyor belt ovens designed to cook pizzas quicker. Some regular menu items will remain, but burgers and new appetizers are going to join the menu.

One thing that is not changing is the staff- Brix's manager, owner, and crew are all staying on board.

The new Van's will have a soft opening tomorrow at 11 AM and an opening celebration on Saturday at 9 PM. Local group Funktastic 5ive will entertain guests at the Saturday event.
