There's going to be one less Hy-Vee in Davenport.

Our friends at KWQC report that the Hy-Vee on Rockingham Road will permanently close it's doors in about a month.

A Hy-Vee spokeswoman said today that the "location has not met our financial expectations over the past several years".

She went on to say that all employees at the Rockingham Road Hy-Vee will be offered a position at another area Hy-Vee store and they will keep their same pay and benefits.

If you use the pharmacy at the Rockingham Road Hy-Vee, your prescriptions will be automatically transferred to another local Hy-Vee pharmacy. You'll get a letter in the mail to let you know what Hy-Vee pharmacy they have sent those to.

If the Rockingham Road Hy-Vee was your go-to for groceries and shopping, you're reminded that you can also use the Hy-Vee Aisles Online grocery delivery option.

The spokeswoman added:

Hy-Vee continues to be committed to Davenport area through our involvement and continued investments in the local community, and we look forward to serving our customers at one of our other local Hy-Vee locations

Even with the closure of the Rockingham Road store, Davenport still has four Hy-Vee locations. There's the one on 53rd, 2 of them on Kimberly, and the one on West Locust. There's also the one in Bettendorf on Devils Glen.

Meanwhile, the last day for the Rockingham Road Hy-Vee (actual address is 3019 Rockingham Road) will be June 23rd, with the store closing it's doors for good at 6:00 p.m.
