Popular Retail Store Coming to the Old Toys ‘R’ Us Building in Moline

The old Toys "R" Us building on 16th St. in Moline won't be sitting vacant much longer.

According to WQAD, popular retailer Big Lots will be filling the space, with an opening date sometime this spring or summer.

The store, which sells a variety of low-priced items like furniture, food, and home goods, already has a location in Davenport and Galesburg, but this is the first Big Lots in Moline.

Remodeling started this week and will wrap up within the next three to four months.
