It's finally fall and there's so much pride going on in the QC.

It's that time of year again. It's the first day of autumn, pumpkin spice is everywhere and it wouldn't be fall in the Quad Cities without our annual Fall Pride Fest in downtown Davenport at LeClaire Park.

I've attended every year and I am more and more impressed with everything they have going on. From the entertainment, King and Queen contests, to the music, vendors and the fact they are pet-friendly. It's a fun environment with so much to see and do. One of my favorite things is getting my face painted. Yes, I realize I'm an adult, but such talented artists are there and it's super fun to see what they'll do.

Joni loves getting a great face paint

Not sure what I'll get this year, but I'll be sure to post it.

It's going on til Midnight today and tomorrow night, plus kids 12 and under get in free. Get all the details on times, cost and other great events at QuadCitiesFallPride.com or click the event on their Facebook page.
