The Quad Cities knows how to have a great time on St. Patrick's Day, more than most places.

If there's one thing I know the Quad Cities knows how to throw down,  it's a St. Patrick's Day party. I've seen it for years. I've watched my most subdued friends get a hold of the spirit of St. Patrick's Day and go all out in celebration. It's super fun to be a part of the Quad Cities on March 17th.

According to a new poll, the Quad Cities ranked among the 'rowdiest' in the country. 'Rowdy' is defined by Merriam-Webster dictionary is "coarse or boisterous in behavior :  rough; also :  characterized by such behavior rowdy local bars."

I'm not so sure I totally align with 'rowdy,' although some places it has been known to be that, but all in good fun. Here's a map of the rowdiest states from CandyStore.com:

Call us 'rowdy,' call us 'loud,' call us 'spirited,' as we celebrate with all our Irish hearts in the QCA. The rest of the world knows it, too. We were also ranked among the best cities in the world for St. Patrick's Day.

Don't forget to vote HERE for the contestants of our Most Irish Spirited contest for a chance to walk in the St. Patrick Society of the Quad Cities parade with B100 and score a gift card from Kelly's Irish Pub.
