Quad Cities ranks in top 10 for best cities to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

We already knew that the Quad Cities is the place to be for St. Patrick's Day, but now, so does the rest of the U.S.

Year after year we see the Quad Cities gaining national attention for the way we celebrate being Irish. I guess you could say we're kind of a big deal.

The QC even ranked higher than Chicago, IL on Niche.com's 10 Best Cities to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day list.

"How do they decide on the rankings," you ask? Here's what they took into account:

1) Access to bars

2) St. Patrick's Day Facebook hype

3) % Irish

4) The year the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade was established.

After Niche.com took those four things into account, here's where the Quad Cities ended up in their rankings. Drum roll, please!

That's right, we ranked #3! The two cities that ranked higher than the QC were Boston, MA and Pittsburgh, PA.
