It's always cool when Quad City communities help out another community. It's even cooler when its kids helping kids.

According to OurQuadCities.com, a Muscatine elementary school stepped up to the plate to collect books for fellow elementary students at Franklin Elementary in Moline after the school lost most of its books in a fire at the school.

The students at Madison Elementary in Muscatine started a book drive, collecting almost 700 books. Good job Madison!
