Illinois police officers are on a stake-out today...at the donut shop.

According to WQAD.com, all across Illinois local officers have taken over the rooftops of Dunkin' Donuts to help raise money for Special Olympics of Illinois. This event takes place today in Moline.

Last year, officers raised $672,000 and hope to top that amount this year. Dunkin' Donuts has donated $15,000 to the officers already.

Everyone who visits the Cop on a Rooftop and makes a donation will receive a free donut, and if you donate $10 you will receive a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug while supplies last, including a free coffee.

Stop by the Dunkin' Donuts at 3501 Avenue of the Cities in Moline to donate.
