Rock Of Love, Celebrity Apprentice Star Bret Michaels Hits The QC

Congrats to Jennifer Hansen of Moline, lover of things that rock!  Winner of the only free pair of tickets to the exclusive, up close, limited Bret Michaels Big Time Bday Bash at Rascals Moline this Friday night! Perhaps one the top 3 best live music venues in the QC, (theres a lot of great ones btw). Intmate, indeed. Loud, yes. memorable, absolutely!  Whats left of the tickets (if any) are $75, and before you go WOHHHHHHHHH, think about the last ticket price you paid at a massive 2,500 to 15,000 seat venue. If you paid $40-$60 you sat in an upperbowl (at best), if you paid $90-$150 per ticket, you sat on the floor, 30-100 rows in. My point being, no matter where you see a show, large or small venue; YOU have justified the ticket price to yourself.  No matter what or who the promoter is, make no mistake; they have laid out a large amount of cash in hope to bring in a great show, recoup their losses and book the next show (or pay next moths rent).  So whether its Bret Michaels at Rascals or Katy Perry at Allstate Arena, or a  local band, GO BUY A TICKET!.  That few dollars you spend, is like your vote telling a venue, I want more of 'this'.  Every Country show at the I-Wireless sells out, so you can bet when those 'vote dollars' are cast, and everyone is making money, we can all 'look forward' to even more country shows there.  My personal thoughts withheld on that.  Enjoy the show!
