School Bus Crashes Into Backyard In East Moline

UPDATE: Our news partner, Local 4 News, has obtained video footage from a neighbors security camera clearly showing the driver of the SUV not stopping at a stop sign at the intersections of 27th Street and Morton Drive this at 7:01 a.m.

ORIGINAL STORY: A school bus has crashed into the backyard of a home in East Moline this morning (Monday, March 9th).

Local 4 News, a school bus and SUV were involved in a crash Monday morning in East Moline. The crash happened around 7 a.m. in the morning at the intersection of 27th Street and Morton Drive. The school bus appears to have crashed into a fence in a resident's backyard.

No students were on the bus at the time of the crash. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
