A lot of people already get the day after Thanksgiving as a paid day off...but should everyone? 39% of Americans say yes.

FatWallet.com conducted a survey and found that, among that 39%, 57% were females between the ages of 18-24 and 68% were parents. According to the site, 1/3 of us do some kind of Black Friday shopping and in that one day alone, we spend a whopping $59.1 billion, almost 15% of the country’s whole holiday budget.

Iowa and Illinois already consider Black Friday a holiday (and I'm not complaining), but calling it "Black Friday" implies that you want the day off so you can go shopping, NOT because it's an extension of the Thanksgiving holiday.

39% of Americans think Black Friday should be a national holiday.
