Looks like the internet troll world has landed in our QC back yard.

Miguel Rosas of New Style Barber Shop in Moline, is a face many of us in the Quad Cities recognize. He's become famous on both the internet and on T.V., having first won KFC for life by shaving an amazing Col. Sanders in the back of someone's head. Next, he caught international attention for a Jake Arietta (Chicago Cubs) shave, and he also won Cedirc's Barber Battle.

Personally, I've known Miguel nearly my entire life. We grew up in the same neighborhood but didn't realize it until he became my barber. Miguel did an awesome transformation on my hair when I did the Dancing with the QC Stars and gave me a side shave that I'm still growing out because I kept it going for so long.

Just last week, Miguel did an amazing shave of Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. As usual, he gained internet momentum. Then I saw this tweet from ESPN's Darren Rovell and the comments that followed:

I reached out to Miguel to see how he was doing with all of this. His positive attitude is admirable. He said,

"I'm used to it. It happens. LOL. Doesn't bother me. Makes me giggle though."

"Why be mad about the negative stuff people say about the things that make me successful?"

I have mad respect for Miguel and can't wait to see what he ends up doing next.
