It's like something out of Back to the Future II. Pizza Hutt International wants to bring pizzas to you, but without a delivery driver.

According to Thenextweb.com, The Plano, Texas-based pizza company has formed a global partnership with Toyota Moto Corp. to explore the future of pizza delivery.

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Toyota unveiled designs for a self-driving vehicle concept called e-Palette. Pizza Hut is one of the founding members of a new "mobility service business alliance," which also includes Amazon.com Inc., Mazda and Uber, according to the release.

Starting this year, the two companies will work together to test communication technology in Pizza Hut delivery vehicles to capture data on driver patterns and behaviors. Testing on Toyota's e-Palette vehicle concept could begin as early as 2020.

Wonder when they will make the freeze-dried pizzas available?
