The Internet Has Been Hacked Today

What happened today was unprecedented.

The internet broke today and it wasn't because of Kim Kardashian's naked butt.

After experiencing some technical difficulties on this end, we discovered there is a much bigger internet hack in place today in America. It has affected Netflix, Twitter and Reddit, in addition to corporations in big commerce, Wall Street and banking industries.

Dyn, a worldwide internet DNS host company with servers on the east coast, has been working all day to get it restored. They did for only a few hours and then it happened again. It's not just the east cost being affected. As you can see by the map above (and below), some strategic places are being targeted. The majority of the east coast (commerce), Texas (oil industries) and the west coast states where massive amounts of international shipping occurs.

Some have speculated the involvement of other governments around the world like China or Russia.

There is much to know yet and much to learn about what exactly is happening with this massive internet outage.
